JAMMU, JULY 11: Former Minister and Ex- MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) interacted with a large number of people to know about their grievances and took stock of remaining works to be done in various areas. A large number of people hailing from various wards visited the office of former MLA and sought redressal of their grievances.
Deputations hailing from ward 24 and 29 met BJP leader and highlighted various issues including low voltage and frequent power cuts. They further asked him to intervene in the matter at the earliest to avoid public distress and demanded for installation of a new transformer at Green Enclave,Ward 24 and Shakti Nagar, Ward 29. Residents from various other wards also met the former BJP MLA and highlighted their problems.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that a fruit ful discussion was held with the deputations and many things came up during interaction, where the locals stressed for taking up some utmost important works in the area besides completing the same within stipulated time frame Sharma called the concerned Executive Engineer of PDD (Power Development Department) and forwarded the grievance of the people to him for which PDD Executive Engineer assured that their demand will be met shortly and a new transformer will be installed in the areas to avoid the problems faced by the locals.
He also asked officials of other concerned departments to immediately prepare estimates and take up remaining works left in all 26 wards of Jammu West Assembly segment, for providing better infra to the inhabitants.Sharma also spoke to concerned engineers of PHE and asked them to provide uninterrupted supply of water in all 26 wards of Jammu West.
